Check OUT: LGBTIQ+ Sexual Health Clinic

Check OUT is a free and confidential sexual health and cervical screening clinic for LGBTIQ+ people.

Check OUT offers:

  • Cervical screening for all LGBTIQ+ people with a cervix
  • STI screening for LGBTIQ+ people, including lesbian, bisexual and queer women (trans, intersex and cis), and all trans and intersex women, trans and intersex men and non-binary people (of any sexuality).

Check OUT is open to all LGBTIQ+ people. If you’re a gay, bi or queer man and you need cervical screening you are more than welcome at Check OUT. If you’re a gay, bi or queer man (trans or cis) who has sex with men, you can access ACON’s a[TEST] service, which offers free rapid HIV testing and STI screening.

Check OUT is for asymptomatic STI and cervical screening. If you have any symptoms, please see your GP, Family Planning NSW, or contact the NSW Sexual Health Infolink on 1800 451 624 for other services.

All our frontline staff are trained members of the LGBTIQ+ community and our nurses are specialists in sexual health. Check OUT is run by ACON and Family Planning NSW.

Check OUT is on the ground floor and all spaces including bathrooms are wheelchair accessible and the clinic exam table is adjustable down to a height of 43cm.
